Birthdays and Snow Days

It snowed yesterday! We took Graham outside to play and he had a blast. He tried eating the snow, but it was too cold for his liking, so he just had me make lots of snow balls to throw for the dogs.

It was also my birthday yesterday. Jason got me some really neat attachments for my sewing machine, and Jason's parents got me some really cool vintage canning jars. It was a very fun day.

Pumpkin Patch

I know I haven't posted in forever, but I just haven't had anything interesting to post about. I do post alot to my Cupkateer blog if your interested in my crafty posts.

But I thought I'd update with a cute new picture of Graham. Happy Fall everyone!

Fun at the Dam

Sunday afternoons are always kind of boring. It usually seems like we just sit around and stare at each other all afternoon. Last Sunday I decided it would be fun to take a drive to Pineview Dam and let Graham play on the beach. Quenton, my brother, argued that this was not an appropriate Sunday activity (in a joking, ooohhh... you're going to hell for this kind of voice), but I say we were relaxing and spending time as a family so it was a perfect Sunday activity.

Graham and Daddy dipped their feet in the water. That's Graham's "body builder swimsuit"

The water was a tad cold and Graham wasn't sure he liked it.

He did however love digging in the sand with a stick he found (how much longer until I'm going to have to bring sticks like that home with me?)

It was a very relaxing, fun Sunday activity!

Monster Bash

Graham's 1st birthday party was a monster theme. I thought this up when he was about 3 weeks old and I have been planning and picking stuff up ever since then. I found some killer monster deals after Halloween last year...

Happy Birthday Graham

Graham turned 1 on August 18th. To celebrate we took him swimming and to McDonalds.

He didn't hate the pool, but he didn't want to stay in it either. We'd put him in the water and then he would "mowgli crawl" out of the pool. It was funny watching him try to walk in the pool. He would stand there and stare at the water unsure if it was ok to walk in it. Then he would just get down and crawl instead.

Afterwards we went to McDonalds and Graham got his first Happy Meal.

Good thing we waited until he'd ate before we gave him the toy. He loved that little car.

Happy Birthday Graham. I hope you had a fun day!

Georgia Aquarium

Graham, Quenton and I have been in Georgia visiting our Aunts. Today we took Graham to the aquarium in Atlanta. It is the world's largest aquarium.

We got to pet sting rays and sharks in the tide pool.

Graham really liked looking at all the fish.....So much better than the tanks of gold fish at Wal-mart.

Graham with a big star fish.

He wanted to touch the shark.

It was all very tiring. He had to get his blankey and have a rest during that last part of the trip.

It was a very fun day!
